The Quartet Project, the educational outreach program of Lake Superior Chamber Orchestra, is an intense summer chamber music program for advanced string instrumentalists. Students study chamber music repertoire (quartets, trios, quintets) in addition to orchestral music. Group session topics often include instrument care, musician health and music theory/composition.
Students participate in rehearsals and coaching with faculty artists from the Lake Superior Chamber Orchestra. Students also receive season tickets to the LSCO summer season.
Students join the LSCO in a public performance and present their own concert performance.
